Currently, Piolo stars with Angel Locsin in the hit television series Lobo and co-hosts the music variety show ASAP ’08, both on ABS-CBN. He started his career in 1997 and had his first big movie break entitled Lagarista in 2000 where he received his first Gawad Urian nomination for Best Actor. He also starred in several Star Cinema movies including Mila (with Maricel Soriano), Milan (with Claudine Barretto), Paano Kita Iibigin (with Regine Velasquez), and in movies co-starring Judy Ann Santos, including Don’t Give Up On Us where he won a Best Actor award from the 23rd Star Awards for Movies in 2007. His next movie is the romantic comedy I Knew I Loved You (with Angel Locsin).

i use to see orig copies of "lagarista" in video shops but i wasnt able to get one. Now i've search everywhere and not a single copy can be found. i think abs-cbn bought all of when d brohaha questioning Piolo's sexuality circulated. Maganda pa naman dun s Janna Victoria (d luv pair of papa p in dat movie!)... hehehe, janna daw oh...
i can never find a way to start my new obsession with papa piolo..
