It is half past five in the morning and I am, far and wide, awake. I know, right? But I am not addicted to anything or whatever you might be thinking right now. But I don’t know. Maybe I am. It was supposedly my day off yesterday but I went to the office to receive some calls to block the mysterious 3-hour deficiency that showed up in my record. Few days ago, I actually logged out and enjoyed a siesta somewhere around my station. But that’s our little secret. Nevertheless, I paid the consequence and accomplished whatever left to be accomplished.
It was a little bit painful to walk the streets at noon but I headed to TriNoma afterwards to get some foods for lunch. I ended up watching Step Up 2 The Streets while trying to enjoy a slice of pizza I got from a cab. Yeah, that cab. It was good. I mean both the pizza and the movie.
I was a dancer before. I have fallen in love to dance before … just because. It is a talent I would always keep inside for I always thought it won’t take me anywhere. But occasionally, I miss the stage, the crowd, and that feeling when you step out from the backstage with a smile on your face. But to keep it real, I can’t take dancing as a career.
Step Up 2 was something I enjoyed though. I don’t care about the reviews. I mean I prefer this movie over any Million Dollar Baby story out there. I know I am not alone but I always prefer movies that are always full of energy and upbeat, regardless if they carry a heavy story or not. That explains why I never had an addiction over Filipino indie films, regardless also if they put three hot actors in orgies. I know there are bunch of good stories being exhibited somewhere else. They call it
visual aids for those who want to masturbate
art films. Oh, I would love to collect them one day.
I also thought of meeting my friend yesterday but I realized I no longer have enough cash to indulge further so I went home unusually early. I downloaded Step Up and watch different movies all night. Nothing really interesting going on.
I know these are random thoughts. Unorganized. Boring. But I’ve taken time to update this blog so let’s appreciate the small things. Is that cool? Have a great week ahead.
