Little Betrayal
Except from the ever loyal destructor of this blog, I know that some of you can show a little distaste over some stuff posted in Simply Manila. Sometimes, to be fair, I actually hate my own posts. I could easily delete these posts if I’d like to, but I don’t want to compromise my thoughts so I keep them hanging there, hoping that someday I would eventually like them. Those were the thoughts that were running inside my head, and being no Einstein, some of my random thoughts could be so mediocre and forgettable. So forgive me for being me. Like I mentioned yesterday, my plan of breaking away from the single life shows some progress, and by progress I mean that guy above. He mentioned he doesn’t want his pictures published and, yes, I feel a little guilty over this little betrayal, but as long as this affair lasts, I want some of my friends to see who replaced my latest ex and who could most probably break my single status. Since I have sinned, you’re all free to judge me and express some revulsion.

Piolo Pascual's Pure Passion
Ever since my world began, I’ve always thought that being in the rush will never become a problem for me. I thought I would love the pressure, and that it would make me more productive and creative. But only after few weeks of handling a team and trying to measure up to the clients’ expectations, I am now sitting here, wondering how beautiful life could have been if I had more control with my supposedly spare time. And that’s why a stress-free weekend has always been something I’m always looking forward to. My plan of breaking away from the single life shows some progress, too, and though I don’t want to spoil the moment, I feel this momentary pleasure might blow apart any time soon. Now since I’m still a little stressed out, let me pamper myself with my latest celebrity man crush’s pictures…

The treasure trail of Richard Gomez
There’s so much more to learn about the respected guys of today—those who have earned our trust as the years passed by. If you dig deeper into their pasts, you’ll see there’s nothing more that appeals to everyone but their dirty histories—scandals, naked pictures and videos, among others. Now we know Richard Gomez has shared some of these nasty rumors (i.e. Ayala rumor, I don’t know if there’s any truth to it), but what I know is that Richard is a very talented actor, showed distaste over Boy Abunda (as evident through one of the episodes he hosted in GMA-7 against ABS-CBN’s The Buzz), lost in the senatorial race, happily married Lucy Torres and is one of Bench’s original endorsers. Now let me add to the list an actor who had allowed somebody else photographed him in his underwear while bathing with his pubic hair peeking for the world to see. See it for yourself…

Last Weekend
My friends, acquaintances, agents and colleagues were expecting me to have my camera with me when we all went to Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas last weekend. But to their disappointment, I left it home due to some inescapable reasons. I had that camera for 16 months already and I’ve always been consistent in capturing the bestest (Yes, there’s no such word!) moments in my life as I travel to not-so-faraway places I have never visited before. But, yes, there’s always a first time.

It’s not as if I’m going to die, anyway, so I was actually comfortable without my Gorgeous G-Canon (my Canon EOS 400D as it was named by my Slovenian baby doll), but thanks to my friend slash photo enthusiast like me, my sincerest moments in Club Balai Isabel were captured through his brand new lenses. Did I like the pictures? Though all of them were just simple (and not even in their greatest quality), I actually like how the candid shots turned out.
It wasn’t the best team-building I ever attended to but it wasn’t the worst one either. What was good about it was the fact that I had another chance to be with my old teammates and friends, and most especially, my agents. We were in this so-called Pantalan (which is located along the shores of Taal Lake overlooking the picturesque Taal Volcano) when I realized a thing or two about my agents.
I know some of them are still hesitant in approaching me more intimately, but they have gained my respect and deep within I was trying to understand them even more personally. Some of them think more maturely than I would, there’s one that I’m sure as hell would be a bad influence, another one that could be easily influenced, there’s one whose loyalty is out of the question, one who’s still disappointed, among others. But I felt the sincerity of the majority, notwithstanding the unwavering pressure I bequeath upon them each day and the sometimes unsympathetic words I would say even teasingly. But more than ever, I realized that most of them would sincerely and fully support me to be the best of their abilities.
I am looking forward for another great weekend. Ciao.

Meet Edouard George
I’ve seen him first through Fabe Clothing when he was featured as one of those fully-Photoshopped underwear models in Fabe Clothing’s Multiply site. Few months later, I’ve seen him again when it was reported that he’s joining the Cappuccinos. Recently, he attempted to make it through the Mossimo Bikini Summit. Now, Edouard George (previously Ted George) is nowhere to be found, and he’s still left, indeed, anonymous. He could be out there doing an indie film or some modeling stints, but whatever fate has in store for this guy, Simply Manila will be watching.

International Mister Gay 2009
I heard that the International Mr. Gay competition was recently held in Manila—its first since its conception in 2005 in Southern California. Several countries sent their delegates this year but Mr. Gay Switzerland Ricco Müller won the event, with Mr. Gay Australia and Mr. Gay USA in second and third, respectively. The event was held in Palacio de Maynila over a month ago already, but here are more pictures of the contestants for you to savor…

On Ginoong Filipinas: Less Forgettable Pinoy Men
It is when your computer starts getting slow when you will finally realized that thousands of files are stored in your PC or laptop. In my case, I have more than 3,000 of pictures waiting to be uploaded in Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, Flickr and even Simply Manila; more than 200 videos from music videos to TV shows (Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Queer As Folk, among others), from indie films to porn, and a lot of other files that need to be saved somewhere else. So from today, let me start reducing the numbers of downloaded pictures that I don’t want to save somewhere else but here, by posting the best pictures I’ve seen from Ginoong Filipinas 2009. Currently, I have 282 downloaded pictures from this event alone (Thanks to Eliseo Gonzaga!), but I won’t be posting all since most of them are really just forgettable, so let me share 10 for now. Enjoy.

Random thoughts when I woke up this morning!
I woke up this morning at exactly 6:00am, and have this very good feeling that my day will be as good as it seems to be as the day progresses. I’m planning to visit Fitness First again today for the first time in more than 2 months, and I will officially try to break my single status as I think I’ve been in Singledom for too long already. I can’t stand to have sex with different people already. *LOL* The last time I had a boyfriend was also over 2 months ago, after that I was hooked up to my new job already—it killed most of my time except the weekends. But I spent most of my weekends with my friends partying, travelling and sometimes, just simply sleeping most of the time.

Last June, I also had the chance to watch several Filipino gay indie films, most notably Serbis and Selda. Serbis really got my interest not only because it was creatively crafted, but due simply to the fact that Coco Martin’s ding-a-ling was seen in its full glory (and by full glory I mean it’s totally in erect status) and Kristoffer King really getting a head from a gay customer. The story doesn’t really interest me; I heard enough of these family-run cinema houses. But more than that, I think that the characters in the movie all play ultra ordinary roles in ultra ordinary circumstances, only the audacity of Coco Martin and Kristoffer King appealed to me. I know it’s especially made for Cannes-enthusiasts, so I guess this is something new to foreign moviegoers.

Serbis
Selda, on the other hand, is very Brokeback Mountain minus the excellence in storytelling, the dynamic visuals, the captivating musical score and the justification to the characters’ unusual shift in sexual interest. I don’t even want to talk about it.
Sid Lucero stars in Selda
Now speaking of gay indie films, I heard Paolo Rivero’s back with a new film called Bayaw (lit. Brother-In-Law), and with him are two equally sexy actors Janvier Daily and Andrew Miguel (of the straight-to-video Fresh Man). When I reviewed Bayaw’s synopsis, it looked to me that the overall appeal of the story is closely similar to that of Joel Lamangan’s Walang Kawala. Well, I guess the best way to judge the movie is to watch it, so I’ll hold off to that thought for now.

On new beginnings, promotion, hot men, etc
So it was by choice that I stopped blogging for a month now, so I could gage my time well and eventually avoid stress. Now that I’m back with this post, then it only means I’ve learned either how to balance my time or how to get my job get done efficiently in the office.
I felt so mean last time when I posted some anonymous picture online in here, and wrote down some sarcastic words that I myself wouldn’t want to hear from other people. But whatever was the reason behind that, there would always be an explanation. But I think I was only pushed to my limits, I don’t usually start a fight, you know. Nevertheless, let’s see if karma bounces back.
