His father, popular action star and comedian Bong Revilla, emerged as the frontrunner in last May’s senatorial race. His mother, drama actress Lani Mercado, was also elected as the newest congresswoman of Bacoor, Cavite and joined the ever-increasing list of millionaires in the House of Representatives. It should not turn out as a surprise that Jolo Revilla enters the world of politics, right? I mean the urgency to serve the public must be part of his genes already. In the recently concluded barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections, young actor Jolo Revilla won as barangay captain in Bacoor, Cavite. I know it is too early to predict the future, but countrymen, meet one of the Philippines’ future legislators.

His parents are lazy "public servants". He will most likely be the same. They are there only for the "perks" and power.
