Duncan James: the self-confessed bisexual Blue member
Meet the self-confessed bisexual Blue band member Duncan James! Here’s an excerpt from his Wikipedia profile: James was raised a “strict Catholic”, and is still Catholic. He came out as bisexual in an interview with the News of the World on 12 July 2009. His Blue co-member Lee Ryan told Britain’s New! Magazine: “Me and Duncan had threesomes! We did some crazy shit with each other. In the past we’ve done some shit like that. It’s not weird, you just high five each other. I think they call it a spit roast.”

Fashionably Hot In Red
The following pictures of an unknown guy were posted last October 2009 in the gay-oriented Yahoo! Group called Sensuwalandya, but this is the first time that I saw these pictures. To start one hell of a week, let’s meet the unnamed guy who looked fashionably hot in those white boxers and red sweater. His hairless underarms, abs-free tummy and skinny legs may not turn on some readers, but I think his earnest smile and smouldering gazes will just do the trick. Good morning, Manila denizens. Let’s make today a better day. Ciao for now.

Pretty Entertaining! Perfect Plan B!
It was a blast these last two days! Although I have to come up with a good excuse for being absent last Friday, I felt no guilt whatsoever for giving me a good rest. Last week was like a Movie Appreciation Week for me as I watched one movie a day from the so-so From Prada To Nada to Mandy Moore’s Tangled. I went out with friends to watch Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D and then watched the all-cast show last night at the P2 bar. While the place is disgusting, I have to admit it is super affordable, pretty entertaining and a perfect Plan B for any cancelled night out. It’s Sunday today and I have something on my plate, but let me take this split moment to thank everyone for a great turnout last week. I’m flattered that even if I don’t advertise my blog in popular bi- or gay-oriented Yahoo! Groups, I still get over a thousand visits everyday and five times more page views. This inspires me to continue the blog in spite of my busy bee life. I’m forever grateful. Ciao for now.

Spotted: Bee And The King
I was watching some final episodes of the recently concluded second season of Glee and caught something from one of the song numbers they did. It was that episode where Rachel Berry almost got a nose job and her Glee friends took her to the mall to get inspiration from Barbra Streisand. Everyone’s dancing inside the mall to the tune of the song Barbra Streisand. Yes, there’s such a song. So, anyway, as the camera rolled all over the place for cinematic effect, the sight of Filipino food chains Chowking and Jollibee got my attention. I know there are Jollibee and Chowking stores in the United States, but I think it’s totally a first to see these icons in a popular show like Glee. If you want to see it for yourself, download Glee’s Born This Way episode. I guess it also appeared in that first season episode where the cast performed inside the same mall. Spotted, indeed! Ciao for now.

Something To Talk About
I have seen a few trailers from other blogs lately and I was a little saddened to realize that the future of Philippine cinema is really worrisome. Not to mention how depressing to watch those so-called actors and actresses deliver their lines in those indie films. I understand that they are not just there for our entertainment first, but to work their asses off for money and save for the future or whatever. Some have indolent and underachiever relatives to feed, others are just enjoying the attention they get. But, clearly, some have serious problems doing their jobs right. If you’re an actor, act. Otherwise, you’re mostly annoying to watch. If you’re a movie writer, don’t just come up with some garbage stories and leave us with something to talk about. Pray to Saint Jude, folks. He listens.

Simply Grateful
Here’s a flash THANK YOU post which is a day delayed already. As usual, my top priorities in life took much of my time and wasn’t even enough, actually. But I had lots of fun this weekend and I have the Lord to thank for that. I’m just thankful knowing that I’m loved by my family and relatives, friends and even acquaintances, and by a select few sent by cupid. They just keep coming, don’t they? But I’m not a dog and I’m not sleeping with all of them at once. Just so we’re clear. LOL. So, here are last week’s top posts, keywords and visiting countries. Ciao for now.

Rough Times In Philippine Cinema
While our biggest film outfits are more concern about raking cash from the easy-to-please Filipinos, our indie film industry is raking almost all Oscar-like awards recently. Only in the Philippines! It’s been years and years, and I hope it’s not going to be decades after decades, but the future of Philippine cinema seemed to be gloomy and unexciting. Star Cinema produces one corny movie or two in a month, Viva with one every after two months or so, and the indie film industry with one less exciting movie every now and then. Philippine theatres are supposed to be where everyone should experience Filipinos’ cinematic artistry, but every moviegoer in this country could attest that our cinema houses are actually homes of Hollywood movies. We are not blaming the cinema operators, of course, and if there is anything, it is the lack of spirit within the core of the local film industry itself, most specially the filmmakers and producers. Nevertheless, let us all congratulate the winners in the recently concluded Gawad Urian, some of them are now-and-then-featured Simply Manila hotties like Coco Martin, Sid Lucero and Joem Bascon. Bravo! See more of them after the jump!

Heavenly Mossimo Hotties
Here are more male contestants from the upcoming Mr & Ms Ecotourism: The Mossimo Bikini Summit 2011 Edition. Do you have your favourites already? I mentioned previously that only Renzie Ongkiko looks and sounds familiar but there are definitely other hopefuls who are just as equally hot and scorching. I hope a better future lies ahead for everyone who made it to the finals. Fascinate us, guys. Ciao for now.

Pussycat Killer Pleaded Guilty
I never really believed that there is a Filipino psycho roaming out there. Most crimes in the country (and I did no research here, just sharing a plain opinion and observation that could be false big time) have motivations and rarely because a sick-o just happened to be there. There is no serial killer that targets a certain age group or something to that effect. That’s why this news about blogger slash cat killer named Joseph Carlo Candare is something. It looks trivial on the outside, but anyone who studied human behaviour knows it’s bigger than that. See the story here.

Like The Last Of The Summer Days
Here are some contestants from the upcoming Mr & Ms Ecotourism (also known as the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2011). Like the last of the summer days, these guys are just as hot and scorching. Renzie Ongkiko is the only familiar name and face to me, but I’m not really expecting he’d win this competition. We know how MBS was in the last few years. Or maybe only last year when the crowd’s favorite Andre Endique did not even place. I don’t want to play the guessing game this year and just leave it to the judges. See eight sexy hopefuls after the jump.
