Bloomberry Topped Out Solaire Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. said it has completed major infrastructure works at its $1.2 billion integrated casino complex at the Entertainment City on the Manila Bay reclamation area. Bloomberry, a listed company led by ports tycoon Enrique Razon, recently held a concrete topping out ceremony for Solaire Manila. "It is getting more exciting as we shift to higher gear towards inaugurating our integrated resort. We are doubly proud because Solaire Manila will be the first resort to be built and operational here in Entertainment City. Once open, I have high hopes that Solaire will immediately contribute to furthering tourism in the country, and the economy in general,” Razon said, in a statement. The development of the first phase of the resort is estimated at $650 million. Phase 1, which covers 180,000 square meters of floor area, includes a hotel tower, ballroom and convention facilities, gaming areas, restaurants, retail shops, and wellness facilities. A 10-storey parking building is also being built. Bloomberry's resort complex is expected to attract tourists, as well as create over 4,600 jobs. The Entertainment City Manila is a multi-billion dollar project of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor), covering 120 hectares of prime reclaimed land on Manila Bay.
