Robin Padilla (43) is one of the hottest Filipino actors in their 40s. If he is in Hollywood, he’s gonna be like Jeremy Renner (41) doing action movies and all, but he is in the Philippines where rich filmmakers are busy with love stories and teeny shows that will surely attract Pinoy moviegoers and poor filmmakers are stuck with low-budget indie films. So it’s sad to see many talents wasted in this country and see actors scramble for little roles to earn more money. While the newcomers stick their throats to their mother network looking like parasites, our veteran actors become freelancers and hop from one network to another (like there’s so many networks to choose from). Then there are those who would hop to another world—politics! So, anyway, sorry for ranting this early, I actually just wanna post the first Men’s Health cover for 2013, but then I saw Robin Padilla on the cover and I got nostalgic.
